Job Title: Underwriting Support/ Customer Service Representative
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
SUMMARY:
The customer service representative is primarily responsible for ensuring overall phone customer service for insureds, agents and internal company personnel. Responsible for assisting in processing policy level transactions (example: cancellations) as instructed and within level of authority. Assisting in team projects as instructed and necessary to maintain a high quality level of customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain quality phone customer service for insureds, agents and internal company personnel.

Assist in the processing policy level transactions (example: cancellations) as instructed and within level of authority.

Assist in team projects as instructed and necessary to maintain excellence of service.

Report discrepancies in procedures and policy details to management, as necessary.

Maintain positive market image and focus action towards customer satisfaction.

Must be detail-oriented and possess good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Must be flexible and able to adapt in a changing business environment with minimum supervision.

Must possess strong communication, organizational and teamwork skills.

Read, analyze and interpret procedures and documents. Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.

Must have the ability to keyboard enter at a speed of not less than 50 WPM.

Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Must be willing to work flexible schedules to support multiple time zones.
Qualifications Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Insurance classes through AICPCU are preferred.
-
3-5 years of related experience and/or training.
-
Some college or post-secondary training in business operations or insurance is strongly preferred.

Must be detail-oriented and possess good interpersonal and problem solving skills
Licenses and / or certifications:
-
440 License preferred, but not required.
