EXCITING NEW ENHANCEMENTS FOR UNIVERSAL NORTH AMERICA

Great News! Universal North America is pleased to announce the following enhancements to our program:

New Electronic Check Payment Option

We have expanded our payment options to include electronic checks.

Credit card and electronic check payments can be made through My Universal online at UniversalNorthAmerica.com or by calling our customer service team at 1-866-458-4262.  

To submit an electronic check payment from our website, please access “My Universal”, and select “Make a Payment”.

Our flexible payment options now include payment by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express), electronic check (ACH), and paper check submitted by mail.

New Easy Quoting for Scheduled Personal Property

You can now quote Scheduled Personal Property with Homeowners easily on our website. To quote this coverage, go to the "Optional Coverages" screen and follow these easy steps:

• Select "yes" for Scheduled Personal Property
• Select the class of property
• Enter description and coverage limit   

Please share these changes and the instructions below with your personal lines staff and producers.

These enhancements are a direct result of your feedback and part of our ongoing commitment to meet the needs of our agents and policyholders.

Instructions on how to make an electronic check payment

You will be prompted to type in the check routing number, account number and other information.

After entering the above information, you’ll be routed to another screen.  Please review the “Confirm Payment” summary and then click on “Submit Payment” to finalize the electronic check payment.  

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING ELECTRONIC CHECK (ACH) PAYMENTS:  Please do not send the paper check to Universal North America after processing the ACH electronic check payment online. Please destroy or return the paper check to the customer. Your office procedures may require you to keep a photocopy or scanned copy of the check on file before destroying or returning the original check.

Instructions on how to quote Scheduled Personal Property

Access Scheduled Personal Property by clicking on "Optional Coverages" on the bottom right of the Coverage screen.

You will then be prompted to enter the class of property, description and coverage limit.

After entering the above information, you'll be routed to another screen. Please review the summary and then click on “Continue” to finalize.
