DIRECT DEPOSIT YOUR COMMISSION CHECK
Cut down on the amount of mail coming into your office and eliminate the hassle of depositing your commission check. Setting up direct deposit of your Universal commission payment is easy.
To set-up direct deposit and receive your commission statement via email: - Complete our direct deposit form.
- Indicate a private email address for receiving your commission statement.
- Attach a voided check or copy of a check (no deposit slips)
- Mail the completed form and check to:

To receive your commission statement via email only: - Complete the “AUTHORIZATION TO RECEIVE COMMISSION STATEMENT VIA EMAIL” section of the direct deposit form.
- Leave other fields blank.
- Mail the completed form to the address listed above.

A. Although most agency contracts state commissions are to be paid no later than 30 days after month end, Universal strives to mail all commission checks no later than the 15th of the month and direct deposits are initiated by the 13th of the month. Q. What is the commission based on?
A. Commissions are paid on COLLECTED premium. Q. Why are there different commissions for different policies?
A. Commission amounts vary by County and Line of Business (DP business has a flat commission rate, HO varies by County). Please see your Agency Contract Schedule A for reference. Q. How can I get my commission statement via email, and can I indicate a separate email address other than my primary agency email address?
A. On the direct deposit form, there is portion that gives authorization to send the commission statements via email and a place to indicate the email address. You can do this without signing up for direct deposit. |
