Universal supports the US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

On September 19, 2007, the Universal team will be among more than 4,000 people gathering in San Juan, Puerto for the 2007 US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Annual Convention, Business Expo and International Pavilion.

The convention serves as an opportunity for Hispanic entrepreneurs, business owners and members of Corporate America to network, build relationships and grow business opportunities in North, Central and South America as well as the Caribbean.

The year’s event themed “Bridging Commerce Among the Americas” is being co-chaired by Universal Group’s Chairman of the Board and CEO Luis Miranda.

In his address to convention attendees, Miranda will share how he built Universal Group, Puerto Rico’s largest provider of personal lines insurance and the challenges and successes of launching US-based Universal North America.

In addition to it’s involvement on the national level, Universal supports several local chapter of the USHCC, including the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Metro Orlando, and the Tampa Bay Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
